Within the Great Lakes Band there are two main performance bands: the Concert Band and the Jazz Band.

Both comprise of a bunch of enthusiastic and friendly musicians, with a wide range of skill levels and ages from 8 to over 90 years old!

As a community-based group, we perform at local events including:

• Fetes,

• Neighbourhood picnics, and

• Australia Day and ANZAC Day functions.

• We perform special concerts (such as the feature act at the 2014 "Glen Miller Band" evening, presented by the Pacific Palms Film Club).

• We are also the primary band for the annual open air Christmas Carols at John Wright Park, Tuncurry.

• We also compete in the annual Eisteddfod Competition,

There's always a performance to look forward to.
